A
pleasant trip to Wales with Melanie and a friendly group. After landing in
Bristol, we went to BATH and its Roman baths.
Three
days in CARDIFF: city tour, castle, bay and pubs!!
We
followed the south coast to PEMBROKE and then we went north to LLANDUDNO
passing by abbey of ST DAVID'S.
Many
castles often in ruins : Cardiff , Pembroke , Beaumaris (on the island of
Anglesey) , Conwy.
A steam
train in SNOWDONIA National Park allowed us to admire beautiful landscapes :
mountains, valleys, lakes..
We went
to PORTMEIRION where the series "The Prisoner" was shot ; it is a
special colourful place that look a bit like Italy.
We came
back with wonderful memories.
